Viewed from the north, the north-east corner of the consolidated remains of the excavated officer's quarters shows the restored flagging, with a cardboard box (a modern addition) marking the location of the officer's latrine. The parish centre extension is in the background and cobbling on the left-hand side of the picture is on the line of the via vicinaria.
