The Parish Centre

This is the Chester-le-Street parish centre as it appears in 1997, viewed from the north-east. The east end of the original building (an old school) can be seen on the left side of the photo, the new extension lying over the Church Chare barrack block. The consolidated portion of the officer's quarters of the barracks lies on the right hand side of the image, next to the northern gable end of the building.
