Writer
Not in the sense of D.H. Lawrence, or even Jeffrey Archer, perhaps, but I
place words on pages and they make sentences... sort of. From a little Shire
book to a slightly bigger Batsford one, both written
with my friend and colleague Jon Coulston. However,
most of what I write is boring old reports, mainly on the subject of
archaeology - the public duty to inform, I suppose,
together with the occasional academic paper.
The ways of the writer are changing, however: the Internet ensures that I
now write to other people more than I have done before, and gives
me the chance to write a wider variety of things. A list of publications
follows, so now is your chance to escape...
